Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, a Nigerian American professional player with the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. The team was selected with the 5th selection overall during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born on March 2nd, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She compiled her high school career with 73 starts in her career and lists career totals of 1 477 and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale took gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship as well as the 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, and the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. She was named the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on the 7th of July 2014. Ogunbowale also has been named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season.
